Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCL2L12, a member of the BCL-2 family of proteins, plays a critical role in regulating apoptosis and cell survival. Its expression has been linked to various biological processes, including cellular response to stress, regulation of mitochondrial function, and involvement in tumorigenesis. Research indicates that BCL2L12 possesses anti-apoptotic properties, preventing programmed cell death in various cancer types, which can contribute to the resistance of tumors to chemotherapy. Given its potential role in both normal cellular physiology and the pathology of cancer, BCL2L12 has emerged as a significant focus of scientific inquiry. The production of recombinant BCL2L12 protein facilitates in-depth studies of its molecular mechanisms, interactions with other proteins, and functional assays to evaluate its contributions to cell survival and cancer development. Understanding BCL2L12's function could unveil new therapeutic targets or strategies, particularly in overcoming drug resistance in cancer treatment. Consequently, the research surrounding BCL2L12 recombinant protein is pivotal for both basic biology and its translational potential in medical applications.
