Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G2E, or phospholipase A2 group IIE, is an important enzyme involved in various physiological processes, including inflammation, cell signaling, and membrane dynamics. As a member of the phospholipase A2 family, it catalyzes the hydrolysis of phospholipids, resulting in the release of arachidonic acid and lysophospholipids, which serve as precursors for bioactive lipid mediators. The enzyme's role in inflammatory responses and its potential involvement in various diseases, such as cancer and autoimmune disorders, have garnered significant interest from researchers. Studies have shown that PLA2G2E expression can be regulated by pro-inflammatory cytokines and is implicated in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory conditions. Furthermore, recombinant PLA2G2E protein has become a valuable tool for investigating its biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms. The production of this protein through recombinant DNA technology enables detailed studies into its structure-function relationships and interactions with other cellular components. Understanding PLA2G2E's role in disease processes may also unveil potential therapeutic targets for modulating inflammation and other related conditions, making it a focal point in molecular biology and pharmacology research. As a result, ongoing studies aim to elucidate the biological significance of PLA2G2E, paving the way for innovative strategies in disease management and treatment.
