简介
ASAM/CLMP proteins have emerged as potential key players in cell-cell adhesion, implicating their role in maintaining tissue integrity. Indications of involvement in adipocyte differentiation suggest potential effects on adipose tissue development and obesity regulation. ASAM/CLMP Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived ASAM/CLMP protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASAM (ASPM and MUD) and CLMP (C-type lectin-like module protein) are significant proteins that have garnered attention in the context of developmental biology and immunology. ASAM is implicated in neuronal development and is believed to play a role in the regulation of neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation, while CLMP is known for its function in cellular adhesion and immune response modulation. The study of recombinant forms of these proteins is crucial for elucidating their functional properties, as well as their potential therapeutic applications. Recombinant protein technology allows for the production of these proteins in a controlled environment, facilitating detailed structural and functional analyses. This research is particularly relevant for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders and immune response irregularities. By expressing ASAM and CLMP as recombinant proteins, researchers can investigate their interactions with other cellular molecules and assess their impacts on signal transduction pathways. Additionally, such studies can pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies that could target ASAM and CLMP pathways, thereby providing potential solutions for conditions related to neuronal dysfunction and abnormal immune responses. In summary, the exploration of ASAM and CLMP recombinant proteins represents a vital intersection of molecular biology, neurology, and immunology, contributing to a deeper understanding of their roles in health and disease.
