简介
The LILRB1/CD85j/ILT2 protein is a receptor for class I MHC antigens and recognizes multiple HLA alleles and H301/UL18 (human cytomegalovirus MHC homolog). Ligand binding induces inhibitory signals that downregulate immune responses. LILRB1/CD85j/ILT2 Protein, Human (435a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived LILRB1/CD85j/ILT2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LILRB1, also known as CD85j or ILT2, is a critical member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LILR) family, playing a significant role in the regulation of immune responses. This receptor is predominantly expressed on various immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, where it acts to modulate their activation and function. The study of LILRB1/CD85j/ILT2 has gained prominence in recent years due to its potential implications in cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases. Research indicates that LILRB1 can inhibit the activation of immune cells, leading to immune evasion by tumors. Furthermore, as a receptor that recognizes HLA class I molecules, it is implicated in maintaining immune tolerance, making it a target of interest for enhancing immunotherapeutic strategies. Recombinant LILRB1/CD85j/ILT2 proteins are instrumental for studying its molecular interactions, signaling pathways, and functional roles in various biological contexts. These studies could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches by modulating its signaling to boost anti-tumor immunity or correcting dysfunctional immune responses in autoimmune disorders. Overall, the characterization of recombinant LILRB1/CD85j/ILT2 represents a promising avenue in understanding immune regulation and developing innovative treatments.
