简介
The PNLIPRP1 protein acts as an inhibitor of dietary triglyceride digestion and lacks lipase activity on various substrates. This regulatory effect suggests an effect on the breakdown of dietary triglycerides. PNLIPRP1 Protein, Dog (P.pastoris, His) is the recombinant dog-derived PNLIPRP1 protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PNLIPRP1, or pancreatic lipase-related protein 1, is primarily expressed in the pancreas and plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and digestion. As a member of the lipase gene family, PNLIPRP1 is particularly interesting due to its unique enzymatic properties and its potential implications in various metabolic disorders, including obesity and type 2 diabetes. Research has shown that PNLIPRP1 is involved in the hydrolysis of triglycerides, contributing to the regulation of energy homeostasis. Given the rising global burden of metabolic diseases, studying PNLIPRP1 could provide insights into the mechanisms underlying lipid dysregulation. By understanding its structure-function relationships and regulatory mechanisms, researchers aim to explore therapeutic avenues for interventions targeting lipid metabolism. Additionally, recombinant protein technology allows for the production of PNLIPRP1 in sufficient quantities for detailed biochemical and functional studies. This includes assessing its enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and potential inhibitory pathways. Overall, PNLIPRP1 represents a promising target for further research in metabolic disease treatment, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of its biological functions and interactions within the metabolic network.
