  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GDI2, or GDP-dissociation inhibitor 2, is a member of the guanine nucleotide dissociation inhibitor family, which plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of Rho family GTPases. These enzymes are pivotal in various cellular processes, including cell migration, growth, and differentiation. Dysregulation of GDI2 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer progression and metastasis, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Research on recombinant GDI2 protein has gained momentum as scientists aim to elucidate its structural and functional characteristics. By producing and purifying recombinant GDI2, researchers can investigate its interaction with Rho GTPases and other cellular substrates, as well as assess its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic agent. Moreover, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying GDI2’s regulatory functions could provide insights into the development of targeted therapies for diseases where Rho GTPases play a critical role. This growing body of research emphasizes the importance of GDI2 in cell signaling pathways and its potential utility in clinical applications, paving the way for novel strategies in disease treatment and prevention.
