  • 简介

MORC3 protein is a nuclear matrix protein that forms MORC3-NB through an ATP-dependent mechanism to restrict viruses through IFN response regulation, which is critical for innate immunity. It regulates IFNB1 activation and has secondary IFN inhibitory functions.MORC3 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived MORC3 protein, expressed by E.coli , with N-His, N-SUMO labeled tag.

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MORC3 (Microrchidia family member 3) is a protein that has recently garnered attention due to its potential role in various biological processes and disease mechanisms. Initially identified as a member of the MORC family, which is involved in chromatin remodeling and gene regulation, MORC3 has been implicated in immune responses and cellular stress responses. Studies have suggested that MORC3 may play a crucial role in the regulation of autophagy, apoptosis, and inflammasome activation, linking it to conditions such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and autoimmune disorders. The protein's functions appear to be modulated by its subcellular localization, which can change in response to stimuli, suggesting its involvement in dynamic cellular processes. Furthermore, research indicates that MORC3 interacts with various signaling pathways, hinting at its complexity and importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Given its multifaceted role, the production and characterization of recombinant MORC3 are essential for elucidating its functional mechanisms and exploring its potential as a therapeutic target. This research aims to provide insights into the molecular underpinnings of diseases associated with MORC3 dysregulation and to explore the protein's potential applications in biomedical research and clinical settings.
