Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Uteroglobin, also known as secretoglobin 1A1 (SCGB1A1), is a small secreted protein primarily expressed in the epithelial cells of the uterus, lungs, and various tissues. It plays a critical role in reproductive functions, immune response, and inflammation regulation. Research has highlighted its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including pregnancy, fibrosis, and respiratory diseases. Uteroglobin exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and has shown potential as a biomarker for certain diseases, making it a compelling target for therapeutic intervention. Its ability to bind and modulate the activity of inflammatory mediators places it at the forefront of studies aimed at developing treatments for conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Significant efforts have been directed towards producing recombinant Uteroglobin/SCGB1A1 for both research and therapeutic applications. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers aim to produce this protein in sufficient quantities for detailed functional studies and potential clinical applications. Understanding the structure-function relationship of Uteroglobin is also a crucial aspect of ongoing research, as it will inform the development of novel drugs that leverage its inherent properties. Overall, the study of Uteroglobin/SCGB1A1 as a recombinant protein holds promise for advancing knowledge in immunology and therapeutic strategies for inflammatory diseases.
