Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Granzyme D (GZMD) is a member of the serine protease family, primarily produced by cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells, playing a pivotal role in the immune response against tumor cells and virally infected cells. Unlike other granzymes, GZMD is unique in its ability to induce apoptosis in target cells through a caspase-independent pathway, which highlights its potential as a therapeutic target or diagnostic biomarker in cancer immunotherapy. The study of recombinant GZMD proteins has garnered attention due to their importance in enhancing our understanding of immune mechanisms and developing novel treatment strategies. Research indicates that GZMD has the potential to modulate inflammatory responses, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases. Additionally, recombinant forms of GZMD can be utilized in functional studies to dissect its role in immune regulation and cell signaling pathways. Given its distinctive modes of action and implications in health and disease, GZMD continues to be a subject of extensive research, aiming to harness its properties for innovative therapeutic approaches. Understanding the structure, function, and mechanisms of GZMD through recombinant protein studies is critical for the development of targeted immunotherapies and for advancing our knowledge of immune evasion by tumors or pathogens.
