简介
The VSTM2A protein is a key player in early white and brown preadipocyte differentiation and actively promotes adipogenesis by upregulating the transcription factor PPARG. This regulation operates in BMP4-dependent signaling pathways, highlighting the complex molecular mechanisms involved in differentiation. VSTM2A Protein, Human ( E84K, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived VSTM2A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag and E84K mutation.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VSTM2A, or V-set and Transmembrane Domain Containing 2A, is a member of the V-set immunoglobulin superfamily and is primarily expressed in immune cells, particularly in T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Recent studies have suggested that VSTM2A plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses, influencing cell adhesion, and modulating cytokine release. The protein is believed to participate in cellular processes like intercellular communication and has potential implications in immune-related diseases and therapies. Researchers are exploring the recombinant expression of VSTM2A to better understand its structural characteristics and functional mechanisms. The generation of VSTM2A recombinant proteins enables detailed analysis of its binding properties and interactions with other immune molecules, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the role of VSTM2A in immune regulation could open new avenues for developing treatments for autoimmune diseases, cancers, and other conditions where the immune system is involved. Furthermore, characterizing VSTM2A's structure and function may contribute to the fields of vaccine development and immunotherapy, offering insights into how immune cells can be harnessed or modulated to fight diseases more effectively. Thus, the study of VSTM2A recombinant proteins is not only significant for fundamental immunology but also holds promise for innovative approaches in clinical settings.
