  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TPK1, or the Tetratricopeptide Repeat Protein 1, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes and diseases. Understanding its function and mechanisms is crucial, given its involvement in protein-protein interactions and cellular signaling pathways. Research indicates that TPK1 may play a key role in cellular responses to stress and contribute to the regulation of mitochondrial dynamics, which further emphasizes its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Additionally, aberrations in TPK1 expression and function have been linked to various pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer, underscoring its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of TPK1 enables researchers to study its structure and function in detail, offering insights into its biological significance and providing a foundation for the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Understanding TPK1 through recombinant protein studies can also facilitate the discovery of its interacting partners, thus shedding light on the complex networks of cellular function it participates in. Given the multifaceted roles of TPK1, further investigation into its properties and interactions holds promising implications for both fundamental biology and clinical applications. Such research endeavors are essential for elucidating the underlying mechanisms of diseases associated with TPK1 and ultimately advancing our knowledge in the field of molecular biology and therapeutic interventions.
