简介
The CD299 protein is an important C-type lectin that plays a role in cell adhesion and pathogen recognition. It can identify pathogens such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Ebola virus, hepatitis C, HIV-1, influenza A, West Nile virus and SARS-CoV. CD299 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived CD299 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-hFc labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DC-SIGN2, also known as CLEC4M or CD299, is a C-type lectin receptor predominantly expressed on dendritic cells and macrophages. It plays a crucial role in the immune response by recognizing various pathogens, including viruses and bacteria, through specific carbohydrate structures on their surfaces. The significance of DC-SIGN2 in viral infections, particularly those involving HIV and certain influenza strains, has garnered considerable attention in immunology and infectious disease research. Its ability to facilitate viral entry and modulate immune responses makes it a potential target for therapeutic interventions and vaccine development. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of DC-SIGN2 to better understand its structural properties and functional interactions with pathogens. By producing this receptor as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its binding mechanisms, explore its role in immune regulation, and identify potential inhibitors that could prevent pathogen recognition. This research is critical not only for advancing our understanding of host-pathogen interactions but also for designing effective strategies to enhance immune responses against various infectious diseases. Overall, the study of DC-SIGN2/CLEC4M/CD299 recombinant proteins provides valuable insights into immune responses and potential pathways for therapeutic development.
