简介
GLIPR1 Protein is a protein with similarity to both the pathogenesis-related protein (PR) superfamily and the cysteine-rich secretory protein (CRISP) family. It may function as a tumor inducer or a tumor suppressor. GLIPR1 promotes cell survival, growth, chemoresistance, and metastasis of glioma by multiple mechanisms, including the activation of STAT3 and CXCR4 signaling. GLIPR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived GLIPR1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GLIPR1 (GLI pathogenesis-related 1) is a gene that has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential implications in cancer biology and therapeutic interventions. Originally identified as a tumor suppressor, GLIPR1 plays a crucial role in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, making it an attractive target for cancer research. Its re-expression has been associated with the inhibition of tumor growth in various malignancies, suggesting that GLIPR1 acts as a negative regulator of tumor development. The study of GLIPR1 recombinant proteins allows researchers to elucidate the functional mechanisms underlying its antitumor activity, as well as to explore its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis or prognosis. Moreover, understanding the structure-function relationship of GLIPR1 can facilitate the development of novel therapeutic strategies, including targeted therapies or gene editing approaches to restore its function in cancerous cells. Investigating GLIPR1 also opens avenues for exploring its interplay with other molecular pathways involved in cancer, thereby providing insights into the complex tumor microenvironment. Overall, the research on GLIPR1 recombinant proteins is pivotal for advancing our comprehension of cancer biology and for devising innovative treatments aimed at improving patient outcomes.
