  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The research on EpCAM (Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule) and TROP-1 (Tumor-Related Protein 1) recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to their critical roles in cancer biology and potential as therapeutic targets. EpCAM is a transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed in various epithelial cancers, such as breast, colorectal, and lung cancer, and is associated with cell proliferation, differentiation, and adhesion. Its aberrant expression is often linked to tumor progression and metastasis, making it an attractive target for antibody-based therapies. Similarly, TROP-1, also known as TAG-72, is a tumor-associated glycoprotein found in several malignancies and serves as a marker for cancer diagnosis and treatment. The development of recombinant forms of these proteins allows for more detailed studies on their structure, function, and interaction with other cellular components. Moreover, these recombinant proteins can be utilized in the generation of specific antibodies or as part of immunotherapeutic strategies, enhancing the ability to target and eliminate cancer cells while sparing normal tissues. Overall, the exploration of EpCAM and TROP-1 recombinant proteins presents promising avenues for innovative cancer therapies and improved patient outcomes.
