简介
FCGRT is an IgG Fc receptor. Fc receptor expression is up-regulated by pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF and down-regulated by IFN-γ. FCGRT plays a role in regulating IgG and serum albumin conversion. Overexpression of FCGRT is also associated with poor prognosis of tumors. FCRN-B2M Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is a recombinant protein dimer complex containing human-derived FCRN-B2M protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag. FCRN-B2M Protein, Human (HEK293, His), has molecular weight of ~32 & 12 kDa, respectively.

Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When FCRN-B2M is immobilized at 2.00 µg/mL (100 µL/well), can bind Biotinylated Human lgG1. The ED50 for this effect is <2.5 μg/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When FCRN-B2M is immobilized at 2.00 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human lgG1. The ED50 for this effect is 199.7 ng/mL.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FCRN-B2M is a recombinant protein that plays a significant role in the immune system and antigen presentation. The Fc receptor neonatal (FCRN) is crucial for the transport of IgG antibodies and the regulation of their half-life. It binds to the Fc region of IgG and plays a pivotal role in protecting IgG from degradation. Beta-2-microglobulin (B2M), an essential component of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, is pivotal for the stability and expression of these molecules on the cell surface. The investigation of FCRN-B2M fusion protein has gained traction in the context of developing novel therapeutic strategies, particularly in diseases associated with immune dysregulation and cancer. Research suggests that manipulating the interaction between FCRN and IgG may enhance the efficacy and duration of antibody-based therapies. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of FCRN-B2M can provide insights into improving immune response and tailoring treatments for autoimmune diseases and malignancies. Studies are focusing on the challenges associated with protein expression, purification, and optimal use of recombinant technology to maximize therapeutic potential. Overall, FCRN-B2M represents a compelling focus in immunology and biotechnology, combining insights from protein engineering, innate and adaptive immunity, and therapeutic development.
