  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LILRA5 (Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor A5), also known as CD85f, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a significant role in the immune response. It is primarily expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, where it is implicated in the regulation of immune cell activation and signaling. Research has indicated that LILRA5/CD85f may have a dual function, acting both as an inhibitory receptor, which dampens immune responses, and as an activating receptor, depending on the context and the specific ligands it interacts with. This dual functionality places LILRA5/CD85f at the forefront of studies related to immune modulation, autoimmune diseases, and infections. The generation of recombinant LILRA5/CD85f protein has been pivotal in elucidating its structure-function relationships, exploring its interactions with various ligands, and understanding its role in immune pathways. By studying the recombinant protein, researchers aim to capitalize on its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker in clinical settings, particularly in diseases characterized by dysregulation of immune responses.
