简介
BTNL6 Protein, part of the immunoglobulin superfamily in the BTN/MOG family, is associated with immune responses and cellular recognition. Its membership suggests involvement in diverse immunological processes, potentially contributing to intricate immune regulation. Further exploration is needed to understand BTNL6's specific functions within the broader immunoglobulin superfamily context and its role in modulating immune responses. BTNL6 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived BTNL6 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BTNL6 (Butyrophilin-like 6) is a member of the butyrophilin family, which plays a pivotal role in immune modulation and T cell regulation. Originally identified in studies focusing on the immune system, BTNL6 has garnered attention for its significant involvement in the regulation of T cell activation and tolerance. Research indicates that BTNL6 might influence various autoimmune diseases, cancers, and inflammatory conditions. Its structure comprises a characteristic immunoglobulin-like domain, which is believed to interact with T cell receptors, thereby modulating immune responses. Given the increasing prevalence of autoimmune disorders and the need for novel therapeutic strategies, the recombinant expression of BTNL6 protein has become a focal point for scientists aiming to elucidate its functional mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications. By producing BTNL6 as a recombinant protein, researchers seek to explore its binding interactions and downstream signaling pathways in T cells. Understanding these processes could provide insights into how BTNL6 contributes to immune homeostasis and may pave the way for targeted treatments that harness or inhibit its functions. Overall, BTNL6 represents a promising area of study that bridges immunology and therapeutic innovation.
