Gene name
BTN2A2
-
简介
BTN2A2 protein inhibits CD4 and CD8 T-cell proliferation activated by anti-CD3 antibodies. It regulates T-cell metabolism, suppressing IL2 and IFNG cytokine secretion. BTN2A2 plays a pivotal role in immune response modulation, maintaining immune homeostasis by limiting T-cell activation and effector functions. BTN2A2 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, Fc-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived BTN2A2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BTN2A2 (B7 Family Member 2A2) is a member of the B7 family of immune regulatory molecules that play a crucial role in the modulation of T cell responses. Research into BTN2A2 has gained attention due to its potential implications in cancer immunotherapy, as its expression patterns are often altered in various malignancies. The protein is believed to interact with immune checkpoints, influencing T cell activity and contributing to tumor evasion of immune surveillance. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of BTN2A2 is essential for elucidating its role in the immune system. Recombinant BTN2A2 protein has become a valuable tool for researchers aiming to probe its function, interactions, and potential as a therapeutic target. By studying BTN2A2 in detail, scientists hope to uncover new strategies to enhance immune responses against tumors and improve the efficacy of existing immunotherapeutic approaches.
