简介
LAMP2 is a key lysosomal glycoprotein that plays crucial roles in lysosomal biogenesis, pH regulation, and autophagy. It directly inhibits the TMEM175 proton channel, optimizing lysosomal acidity for efficient hydrolase activity. LAMP2/CD107b Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived LAMP2/CD107b protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LAMP2 (Lysosome-Associated Membrane Protein 2) and CD107b (LAMP1) are integral membrane proteins primarily located in lysosomes, where they play critical roles in various cellular processes, including the regulation of lysosomal enzyme activity and the modulation of immune responses. Recent studies have indicated the importance of LAMP2 in maintaining lysosomal integrity and its involvement in autophagy, a vital process for cellular homeostasis and the degradation of dysfunctional organelles. Additionally, CD107b is recognized for its role in cytotoxic T lymphocyte degranulation, making it a marker for immune cell activation. The exploration of recombinant LAMP2/CD107b proteins has gained momentum due to their potential therapeutic applications, particularly in targeting lysosomal storage disorders and enhancing immune responses in cancer therapy. By investigating the structural and functional properties of these proteins, researchers aim to elucidate their mechanisms of action, improve our understanding of lysosomal dynamics, and develop novel strategies for disease intervention. Overall, the study of LAMP2/CD107b recombinant proteins represents a promising avenue in biomedical research, with implications for both basic science and clinical applications.
