简介
The CD9 protein is an integrin-linked integral membrane protein that regulates sperm-egg fusion, platelet activation, and cell adhesion. On oocytes, it promotes sperm-egg fusion by organizing multi-protein complexes. CD9 Protein, Mouse (Cell-Free, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived CD9 protein, expressed by E. coli Cell-free , with N-10*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD9 is a tetraspanin protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, activation, and signaling. It is expressed in numerous cell types, particularly in immune cells and platelets, where it is involved in modulating interactions with other cells and the extracellular matrix. Research on CD9 has gained momentum due to its implications in cancer biology, where it has been associated with tumor progression, metastasis, and immune evasion. In recent years, studies have highlighted the potential of CD9 as a biomarker for diagnosing certain types of cancers and as a target for therapeutic interventions. Recombination technology has enabled the production of recombinant CD9 proteins, facilitating detailed investigations into their structure and function. These recombinant proteins are valuable for elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which CD9 influences cellular behavior and for developing CD9-targeted therapies. As the understanding of CD9's roles in both normal physiology and disease progresses, it is becoming increasingly recognized as a promising avenue for clinical research, particularly in oncology and immunotherapy.
