Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD5 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in modulating T cell and B cell functions within the immune system. It is primarily expressed on the surface of T lymphocytes and certain B cells, influencing their activation and survival. The study of CD5 has gained significant attention due to its contribution to immune responses and its potential implications in various diseases, particularly autoimmune disorders and cancers. Scientists have focused on the role of CD5 in enhancing T cell receptor (TCR) signaling and its interaction with other co-stimulatory molecules, which can alter immune cell behavior. Recombinant CD5 proteins have been developed for research purposes to investigate their biochemical properties and therapeutic potentials. These studies aim to uncover how CD5 modulation can be harnessed to improve immune responses in vaccine development or to develop novel treatments for cancers where CD5 is overexpressed or dysfunctional. As a result, understanding the structure and function of recombinant CD5 proteins may pave the way for innovative strategies in immunotherapy and the management of immune-related diseases.
