简介
Neuropilin-1 protein plays an important role by binding to VEGF-165, possibly inhibiting its cellular binding and inducing apoptosis. This dual function suggests its role in regulating VEGF-mediated processes. Neuropilin-1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Neuropilin-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Biological Activity
1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human Neuropilin-1, at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human VEGF165 protein. The ED50 for this effect is 14.96 ng/mL. 2.Immobilized Recombinant Human / Cynomolgus VEGF / VEGFA / VEGF165 Protein at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Neuropilin-1, Human with a linear range of 32-160 μg/mL. 3.Measured by its ability to inhibit the cell growth of MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line. The ED50 for this effect is 13.44 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 7.44×104 U/mg. 4.Measured in a cell proliferation assay using HUVEC cells. The ED50 for this effect is 154.3 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 6.48×103 units/mg. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human Neuropilin-1, at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human VEGF165 protein. The ED50 for this effect is 14.96 ng/mL.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.
