  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TNFSF3, also known as Lymphotoxin Beta (LTβ), is a cytokine that plays a crucial role in the immune system, particularly in the development and organization of secondary lymphoid tissues such as lymph nodes and spleen. It is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily and is primarily produced by activated T and B cells. LTβ signals through its receptor LTβR, initiating various biological processes including cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation of immune cells. Research on TNFSF3/LTβ has gained significant attention due to its involvement in autoimmune diseases, inflammation, and tumor biology. Dysregulation of LTβ signaling is associated with rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and certain cancers, making it a potential therapeutic target. The recombinant form of TNFSF3 has been used in experimental models to better understand its functional roles and to explore its potential as a biotherapeutic agent. Studies have shown that modulating LTβ signaling can influence immune responses, enhance vaccine efficacy, and improve tissue healing. These investigations underline the importance of TNFSF3 in immune system regulation and its promise as a target for novel therapeutic strategies in treating various immune-related disorders and malignancies.
