Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    SLAMF6

  • 简介

SLAMF6 protein is a self-ligand receptor in the SLAM family, which complexly regulates the activation and differentiation of immune cells through homotypic or heterotypic interactions, affecting innate and adaptive immune responses. It relies on cytoplasmic adapters such as SH2D1A/SAP and/or SH2D1B/EAT-2 for activity control. SLAMF6 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived SLAMF6 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

  • Application

    SPRMSTBLIITCELISACELL ASSAYDRUG SCREENING

  • Biological Activity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant mouse SLAMF6 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind biotinylated Human SH2D1A. The ED50 for this effect is 24.13 ng/mL. • Reconstitution

Reconstitute in ddH2O to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL. Do not vortex.

  • Customization

Site-directed mutagenesis Custom tag design Custom buffer formulation Custom full-length protein production

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SLAMF6 (SLAM family member 6), a member of the SLAM (Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule) receptor family, plays a crucial role in immune cell signaling and regulation. This protein is primarily expressed on various immune cells, including T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, where it modulates immune responses through its interactions with ligands and downstream signaling pathways. Research into SLAMF6 has garnered significant interest due to its potential implications in autoimmune diseases, infections, and cancer. The reconstitution of SLAMF6 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed studies of its structure-function relationship, signaling mechanisms, and interactions with other immune regulators. By understanding the role of SLAMF6 in immune modulation, researchers aim to identify novel therapeutic targets and strategies for enhancing immune responses or dampening inappropriate immune activities in various disease contexts. Overall, the study of SLAMF6 reconstituted protein holds promise for advancing our knowledge of immune regulation and developing innovative treatments for related pathologies.
