简介
Jagged-1/JAG1 protein is a multifunctional ligand that binds to multiple Notch receptors and mediates Notch signaling. It influences cell fate decisions during hematopoiesis, spans early and late mammalian cardiovascular development, and regulates myoblast differentiation.Jagged-1/JAG1 Protein, Mouse (Myc, His-SUMO) is the recombinant mouse-derived Jagged-1/JAG1 protein, expressed by E.coli , with C-Myc, N-SUMO, N-10*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Jagged-1 (JAG1) is a critical ligand in the Notch signaling pathway, which plays a vital role in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of the Notch pathway, particularly involving JAG1, is implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders. JAG1 interacts with Notch receptors on adjacent cells, triggering signaling cascades that influence cellular fate. Research into recombinant JAG1 protein focuses on understanding its structure-function relationship and its role in mediating intercellular communications. Recombinant JAG1 can be produced using various expression systems, enabling detailed studies on its interaction with Notch receptors and downstream signaling effects. Investigating the biochemical properties of JAG1, including its binding affinity and signaling efficacy, may provide insights into therapeutic targets for conditions associated with Notch signaling dysregulation. Additionally, recombinant JAG1 has potential applications in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, as it could enhance cell survival and differentiation in therapeutic settings. The production and characterization of JAG1, therefore, represent a significant area of interest for advancing our understanding of Notch signaling and its implications in health and disease.
