  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Coagulation factor III, also known as tissue factor (TF), plays a crucial role in the extrinsic pathway of the coagulation cascade, initiating blood clotting upon vascular injury. The research surrounding recombinant tissue factor (rTF) has gained significant momentum due to its potential applications in both therapeutic and diagnostic realms. Historically, TF was found to be a key regulator of hemostasis, but its overexpression is also linked to pathological conditions, including thrombosis and cancer metastasis. Consequently, understanding the structure and function of rTF has important implications for designing targeted therapies that can modulate coagulation processes. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have made it possible to produce high-purity rTF, facilitating studies on its biochemical properties and cellular interactions. Furthermore, rTF is being investigated for its utility in enhancing coagulation in patients with bleeding disorders, as well as its role as a pro-coagulant factor in tumor biology. By elucidating the mechanisms underlying TF function and its recombinant forms, researchers aim to unravel novel therapeutic strategies that can balance coagulation and prevent undesired thrombotic events. The ongoing studies on Coagulation factor III/F3 recombinant protein not only contribute to our fundamental understanding of hemostatic processes but also pave the way for innovative treatments that address critical health challenges.
