简介
CD113 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is a recombinant human CD113 expressed in HEK 293 cells with a His tag at the N-terminus. CD113 Protein is a member of immunoglobulin-like cell adhesion molecules that shows homophilic and heterophilic cell-cell adhesion activities[1][2].

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Nectin-3, also known as CD113, is a member of the nectin family of cell adhesion molecules that play crucial roles in cellular interactions and tissue organization. Research has shown that Nectin-3 is involved in various physiological processes, including neuronal development, immune responses, and the regulation of cell proliferation. Its expression is particularly prominent in the central nervous system and certain cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have highlighted Nectin-3's involvement in cancer biology, where it may influence tumor microenvironment dynamics and metastasis. The recombinant expression of Nectin-3/CD113 protein has garnered interest for its potential applications in understanding cellular signaling pathways and immune interactions. By generating this protein in a recombinant form, researchers aim to facilitate in vitro studies to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions with other proteins, including receptors and ligands. The availability of recombinant Nectin-3/CD113 also opens avenues for developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, particularly in cancer immunotherapy, where modulating cell adhesion and signaling could enhance treatment efficacy. Overall, the exploration of Nectin-3/CD113 offers significant promise for unraveling complex biological processes and advancing potential clinical applications.
