  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CD73, also known as ecto-5'-nucleotidase, is an important enzyme involved in the purinergic signaling pathway, where it catalyzes the dephosphorylation of extracellular ATP to adenosine. This process plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological conditions, including inflammation, tissue repair, and tumor progression. The elevation of adenosine levels, mediated by CD73 activity, has been linked to immune suppression and cancer metastasis, making CD73 a promising therapeutic target. Given its significance, researchers have been focused on producing recombinant CD73/5'-nucleotidase proteins to study their structure, function, and potential as drug targets. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, scientists can obtain large quantities of pure protein for biochemical assays, structural analysis, and the development of inhibitors. Understanding the enzymatic mechanisms and regulatory pathways of CD73 will not only enhance our knowledge of purinergic signaling but also pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.
