  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CD53 is a member of the tetraspanin family of proteins, which are characterized by their four transmembrane domains and involvement in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, signaling, and interaction with other proteins. Research on CD53 has gained attention due to its expression in immune cells and its potential roles in immune response regulation, cell activation, and migration. Studies have suggested that CD53 can influence the behavior of leukocytes, modulating their proliferation, differentiation, and response to pathogens. Additionally, abnormalities in CD53 expression have been linked to various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and certain cancers, highlighting its relevance as a potential therapeutic target. The development of CD53 recombinant proteins provides a valuable tool for investigating its molecular mechanisms, functional roles, and interactions with other cell surface molecules. By understanding the structure-function relationship of CD53, researchers aim to uncover its contributions to immune regulation and disease pathology, potentially paving the way for novel therapeutic approaches in immunomodulation and cancer treatment. Furthermore, the availability of CD53 recombinant proteins can facilitate the study of its role in cell signaling pathways and its impact on immune cell dynamics, thereby advancing our overall understanding of the immune system and its associated diseases.
