简介
Aminopeptidase N/APN proteins act as aminopeptidases with broad specificity, assisting in the final stages of peptide digestion and processing of various peptides, including the hormones angiotensin III/IV and neuropeptides.Aminopeptidase N/APN Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Aminopeptidase N/APN protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Aminopeptidase N (APN), also known as CD13, is a zinc-dependent metallopeptidase that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including protein metabolism and immune response regulation. APN is widely expressed on the surface of different cell types, including immune cells, endothelial cells, and some epithelial cells. It is involved in the degradation of extracellular peptides, thus influencing signaling pathways that are vital for cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. In addition, APN has been implicated in the pathology of several diseases, including cancer, where it can affect tumor growth and metastasis, and in various infectious diseases, as it serves as a receptor for certain pathogens. The study of recombinant APN proteins has gained significant attention for their potential applications in diagnostics and therapeutics, particularly in designing inhibitors that can selectively target APN for cancer treatment or as a means to modulate immune responses. The ability to produce APN in a recombinant form allows for detailed characterization of its structure and function, paving the way for understanding its role in disease mechanisms and developing APN-based strategies for intervention. This research is critical for exploring novel approaches to combat diseases where APN is a key player, thereby highlighting its significance in both basic biology and clinical applications.
