Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-11 receptor alpha (IL-11Rα) is a crucial component of the interleukin-11 signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, fibrosis, and tissue repair. IL-11, a member of the IL-6 cytokine family, exerts its effects by binding to IL-11Rα, leading to activation of downstream signaling pathways such as JAK/STAT. Dysregulation of IL-11 signaling has been implicated in several diseases, including chronic inflammatory conditions and fibrotic disorders, making IL-11Rα an attractive therapeutic target. Research into the recombinant protein of IL-11Rα has gained traction as scientists aim to understand its structure-function relationship, signaling mechanisms, and potential as a biomarker for disease progression. The production of recombinant IL-11Rα allows for various applications, including the development of novel therapeutic strategies, such as the creation of antagonists to inhibit IL-11 signaling in pathological states. Additionally, recombinant IL-11Rα can be used in functional assays to screen for potential drug candidates and to explore the receptor's role in cellular responses. Overall, the study of IL-11Rα and its recombinant protein represents a significant area of investigation in immunology and therapeutic development, with promising implications for treating diseases characterized by aberrant IL-11 signaling.
