稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA or IL-1RN) is a key member of the interleukin-1 family that plays a vital role in the regulation of inflammatory responses. Elevated levels of IL-1, a pro-inflammatory cytokine, are associated with numerous inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and systemic inflammatory response syndrome. IL-1RA acts as a natural inhibitor of IL-1 by binding to the IL-1 receptor without eliciting a signaling response, thus mitigating the biological effects of IL-1 and promoting an anti-inflammatory environment. The development of recombinant IL-1RA protein for therapeutic use was propelled by its potential to counteract excessive inflammation. Clinical trials have demonstrated its efficacy in reducing pain and improving function in patients with inflammatory disorders. The protein's structure and function have been extensively studied, leading to insights into its role in immune modulation. Researchers are investigating a variety of recombinant forms of IL-1RA to enhance its stability, bioavailability, and therapeutic efficacy, which holds promise for novel treatments in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Furthermore, the exploration of IL-1RA in combination therapies aims to create synergistic effects with other anti-inflammatory agents, offering a multifaceted approach to managing complex inflammatory conditions. Overall, the elucidation of IL-1RA's mechanisms and its recombinant forms represents a significant advancement in the field of immunotherapy and provides a pathway for improving clinical outcomes in patients suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases.
