Gene name
TREM-1
-
简介
The TREM-1 protein is a key cell surface receptor that amplifies inflammatory responses in innate and adaptive immunity. Ligands such as PGLYRP1, HMGB1 or HSP70 activate TREM-1, leading to multimerization and complex formation with TYROBP/DAP12. TREM-1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived TREM-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TREM-1 (Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells-1) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily that plays a crucial role in amplifying inflammatory responses during infection and sepsis. It is primarily expressed on neutrophils and monocytes, where it enhances the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and promotes the activation of immune responses. Research has shown that excessive activation of TREM-1 is associated with various inflammatory diseases, including sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and autoimmune disorders. As a result, TREM-1 has emerged as a potential biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of these conditions, as well as a target for therapeutic intervention. The study of recombinant TREM-1 proteins aims to understand their structural and functional characteristics, facilitate their potential use in modulating immune responses, and evaluate their therapeutic efficacy in controlling excessive inflammation. By generating and analyzing recombinant forms of TREM-1, researchers hope to dissect its signaling pathways, identify its interactions with ligands and receptors, and ultimately develop strategies to inhibit its activity in pathological conditions, thus paving the way for novel treatments in inflammatory diseases.
