简介
Leukocyte-associated immunoglobulin-like receptor 2 is expressed as a soluble receptor exhibiting high affinity for various collagen molecules to which it binds in a hydroxyproline-dependent manner. LAIR2 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, Avi-His) is the recombinant human-derived LAIR2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LAIR2 (Leukocyte Associated Immunoglobulin-like Receptor 2) is a receptor that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, primarily known for its role in modulating immune responses. It is expressed on various immune cells and is involved in the regulation of inflammation and immune tolerance. Research into LAIR2 has gained significance due to its potential implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer. LAIR2 acts as a negative regulator of immune activation, which can be beneficial in preventing tissue damage during inflammatory responses but may also promote tumor immune evasion. The study of LAIR2 recombinantly has gained traction to better understand its structural, functional, and therapeutic potential. Recombinant LAIR2 proteins can be engineered to investigate their binding affinities, intracellular signaling pathways, and interactions with ligands, thus providing insights into their role within the immune system. This research could pave the way for new immunotherapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing anti-tumor immunity or modulating autoimmune conditions. By elucidating the mechanisms of LAIR2 action, scientists hope to improve the design of therapeutic agents that can either activate or inhibit LAIR2 function, ultimately contributing to the development of novel treatments for a variety of immune-related diseases.
