Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDGFA (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Alpha) is a key growth factor involved in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation, making it crucial for normal tissue development and repair. Its primary role in promoting angiogenesis and tissue regeneration has attracted significant interest in both basic research and clinical applications, particularly in the fields of wound healing, cancer therapy, and tissue engineering. Abnormalities in PDGFA signaling have been implicated in several pathologies, including fibrotic diseases and tumors, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant production of PDGFA protein has enabled detailed studies of its biological functions and interactions, facilitating insights into its mechanisms of action. Researchers are increasingly focused on developing PDGFA-based therapies that could harness its regenerative properties while mitigating the risks associated with uncontrolled cell growth. As such, the exploration of PDGFA recombinant protein has opened new avenues in regenerative medicine, allowing for the systematic investigation of its role in various diseases and the optimization of strategies to employ it in therapeutic contexts.
