Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FER (Feline Sarcoma Viral Oncogene Homolog) is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase involved in various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and survival. The study of FER and its recombinant proteins has gained attention due to its implications in cancer biology and signal transduction pathways. Aberrant activation of FER has been linked to several cancers, making it a potential therapeutic target. Researchers are particularly interested in understanding its role in regulating cellular responses to stress and its interactions with other signaling molecules. The recombinant form of FER is used to elucidate its functional mechanisms, explore its involvement in oncogenic signaling, and evaluate its potential as a drug target. Molecular techniques allow the production of FER proteins for structural and functional studies, leading to insights into its kinase activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms. Additionally, the use of FER recombinant proteins opens avenues for developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at inhibiting its activity in cancers characterized by fer overexpression or dysregulation. Overall, the exploration of FER recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also highlights their significance in advancing cancer research and therapeutic development.
