  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The ORF2/3 recombinant protein has garnered significant attention in virology and immunology due to its crucial role in the lifecycle of various viruses, particularly in the context of emerging viral diseases. ORF2 and ORF3 are often associated with the replication and pathogenicity of certain viruses, such as coronaviruses and other RNA viruses. Understanding the structure and function of these proteins is vital for elucidating the mechanisms of viral entry, replication, and evasion of the host immune response. Recent studies have employed advanced techniques like X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy to explore the three-dimensional structures of ORF2/3 proteins, revealing potential targets for therapeutic intervention. Furthermore, recombinant forms of these proteins are being used in vaccine development and diagnostic assays, highlighting their utility in public health strategies. By investigating the immunogenic properties of ORF2/3, researchers aim to design more effective vaccines that can elicit a robust immune response in populations at risk. As the global landscape of infectious diseases evolves, the ongoing research into ORF2/3 recombinant proteins continues to be of paramount importance, offering insights that could lead to innovative solutions for controlling viral infections and mitigating their impact on human health.
