简介
CXCL11, also known as IFN-inducible T-cell α-chemoattractant (I-TAC), belongs to the ELR-negative CXC chemokine family. CXCL11 is produced by a variety of cells including leukocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells upon stimulation with interferons (IFNs). CXCL11 signals through CXCR3. CXCL11 is associated with pleiotropic functions including chemotactic migration, regulation of cell proliferation and self-renewal, increasing cell adhesion, and modulation of angiostatic effects[1][2]. I-TAC/CXCL11 Protein, Human (HEK293) consists of 73 amino acids (F22-F94) and is expressed in HEK293 cells.

Biological Activity
1.The ED50 is <0.5 μg/mL as measured by CHO-K1/Gα15/hCXCR3 cells (human Gα15 and human CXCR3 stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells). 2.The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using activated human T-lymphocytes. The ED50 for this effect is ≤2.379 ng/mL in the presence of 1ng/mL human IL-2, corresponding to a specific activity is ≥4.203×105 U/mg. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using activated human T-lymphocytes. The ED50 for this effect is 2.251 ng/mL in the presence of 1ng/mL human IL-2, corresponding to a specific activity is 4.442×105 U/mg.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
I-TAC (Interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant), also known as CXCL11, is a chemokine that plays a crucial role in immune responses, particularly in the recruitment of T cells to sites of inflammation. Its primary functions involve mediating the migration of immune cells, particularly Th1-type cells, and promoting inflammatory responses. Elevated levels of CXCL11 have been associated with various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, viral infections, and cancers. Consequently, the recombinant production of I-TAC/CXCL11 protein has garnered significant interest for both basic research and therapeutic applications. This protein allows for the exploration of its signaling pathways, interactions with receptors such as CXCR3, and its role in cellular responses during pathological conditions. Furthermore, recombinant I-TAC/CXCL11 can serve as a potential therapeutic agent for modulating immune responses or as a research tool for studying T cell dynamics in various disease models. Understanding the functional properties and mechanisms of I-TAC/CXCL11 can contribute to the development of new treatments aimed at targeting immune-related conditions, ultimately enhancing our ability to manipulate the immune system in a beneficial way.
