稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DEFB128, a member of the defensin protein family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential roles in innate immunity, antimicrobial activity, and broader physiological functions. Defensins are small cationic peptides known for their ability to disrupt microbial membranes, making them crucial for the host's defense against a variety of pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The specific emphasis on DEFB128 arises from its unique structural features and expression patterns, particularly in the reproductive system and mucosal tissues. Research indicates that DEFB128 may have important roles in reproductive health, influencing processes such as sperm function and fertilization. Moreover, its expression is often modulated in response to infections and inflammatory conditions, suggesting a dynamic role in the immune response. As scientists continue to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying DEFB128's function and regulation, it presents a promising avenue for therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing host defense mechanisms or addressing reproductive health issues. Further studies on recombinant DEFB128 protein could elucidate its potential applications in clinical settings, contributing to the development of novel antimicrobial agents or fertility treatments.
