  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4RA) is a key component of the immune response, primarily mediating the effects of interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), two critical cytokines involved in allergic reactions, asthma, and various immune disorders. The IL-4RA receptor is involved in the differentiation and proliferation of immune cells, particularly T-helper 2 (Th2) cells, which are pivotal in driving allergic inflammation. Dysregulation of IL-4RA signaling has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several diseases, including asthma, atopic dermatitis, and chronic rhinosinusitis. Understanding the structure and function of IL-4RA is crucial for the development of targeted therapies aimed at modulating immune responses. Researchers are exploring recombinant IL-4RA proteins to elucidate the receptor's biological pathways, assess its potential as a therapeutic target, and improve our understanding of Th2-mediated conditions. These studies may pave the way for innovative treatment strategies that could mitigate the impact of IL-4RA-related diseases, providing hope for more effective management of allergic conditions through the modulation of IL-4 signaling pathways.
