简介
CXCL6 (also known as granulocyte chemotactic protein-2, GCP-2), a member of the ELR+ CXC chemokine family, is a chemoattractant for neutrophilic granulocytes and initiates chemotaxis through the chemokine receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2[1][2]. CXCL6 exerts neutrophil-activating and angiogenic activities, and has antibacterial action against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria[3]. GCP-2/CXCL6 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is produced in HEK293 cells with six C-Terminal His-tags. It consists of 77 amino acids (G38-N114).

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GCP-2/CXCL6, a member of the CXC chemokine family, plays a crucial role in immune responses and inflammation. Initially identified as a key player in hematopoiesis, its functions have expanded to include the recruitment of neutrophils and other immune cells to sites of injury or infection. Elevated levels of GCP-2/CXCL6 have been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer progression, autoimmune diseases, and chronic inflammatory states. Research into GCP-2/CXCL6 has garnered attention due to its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis, as well as its promise as a therapeutic target. The production of recombinant GCP-2/CXCL6 proteins has advanced our understanding of the structural and functional aspects of this chemokine, facilitating studies on its receptor interactions and signaling pathways. This ongoing research is critical for elucidating the role of GCP-2/CXCL6 in health and disease, ultimately paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity for improved clinical outcomes.
