  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GRO-gamma, also known as CXCL3, is a chemokine belonging to the CXC subfamily of chemokines, which plays a critical role in immune responses and inflammation. It is primarily involved in the recruitment of neutrophils and other immune cells to sites of infection or injury. Research has shown that GRO-gamma not only influences the migration of various immune cell types but also participates in tumor progression and metastasis. Elevated levels of CXCL3 have been observed in several types of cancers, indicating its potential role in promoting tumor microenvironmental changes that facilitate cancer cell survival and dissemination. Consequently, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying GRO-gamma/CXCL3's function can provide insights into its therapeutic potential as a target for cancer treatment, as well as its involvement in inflammatory diseases. The recombinant protein form of GRO-gamma/CXCL3 has been utilized in various studies to elucidate its biological activity and interactions with its receptors. These studies have highlighted its importance in modulating immune responses and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at manipulating its pathways to improve patient outcomes in autoimmune diseases and cancer therapies. Thus, ongoing research into GRO-gamma/CXCL3 continues to unveil its complex roles in pathophysiological processes, making it a significant focus in the fields of immunology and oncology.
