Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APOL4, or Apolipoprotein L4, is a member of the apolipoprotein family, which is known for its role in lipid metabolism and potential implications in various diseases. Initially identified for its involvement in the innate immune response, particularly against Trypanosomiasis, APOL4 has drawn attention for its unique structure and function, distinguishing it from other apolipoproteins. Recent studies have suggested that APOL4 may play a critical role in cellular processes such as apoptosis, inflammation, and cholesterol metabolism. The protein’s expression is associated with certain biological conditions and disease states, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Given its multifaceted roles, researchers are increasingly focused on characterizing the biochemical properties and physiological functions of recombinant APOL4 protein. By producing this protein through recombinant DNA technology, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanisms of action and interactions with other cellular components. Understanding APOL4's function could provide insights into its potential as a therapeutic target in diseases where lipid dysregulation and immune response are pivotal. Overall, the study of recombinant APOL4 protein is essential for unlocking its biological significance and potential applications in biomedical research.
