Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDE1C, or phosphodiesterase 1C, is a crucial enzyme that plays a significant role in the regulation of intracellular signaling pathways by hydrolyzing cyclic AMP (cAMP) and cyclic GMP (cGMP), two important second messengers in various physiological processes. Research on PDE1C has garnered attention due to its involvement in diverse cellular functions, including neurotransmission, cardiovascular regulation, and cell proliferation. Dysregulation of PDE1C activity has been linked to several pathological conditions, such as heart disease, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. The production of recombinant PDE1C protein has become an essential tool in studying its enzymatic properties, interaction with inhibitors, and biological functions. Utilizing techniques such as molecular cloning and expression systems, researchers can generate large quantities of purified PDE1C for biochemical assays and structural studies. This recombinant protein allows scientists to explore its role in drug discovery, particularly in designing selective inhibitors that may offer therapeutic benefits in diseases associated with abnormal PDE1C activity. Furthermore, the characterization of PDE1C can lead to a deeper understanding of the intricate signaling networks that govern cell behavior and how these pathways can be manipulated for therapeutic interventions. Overall, the study of recombinant PDE1C protein is vital for elucidating its biological significance and potential as a drug target in various clinical settings.
