  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CCL24, also known as Eotaxin-2, is a chemokine that plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in recruiting eosinophils to sites of inflammation. It is part of the CC chemokine family and is primarily produced by various cell types, including epithelial cells and fibroblasts, in response to inflammatory stimuli. The research on CCL24 has garnered attention due to its involvement in several allergic and inflammatory diseases, such as asthma, rhinitis, and certain autoimmune conditions. Elevated levels of CCL24 have been associated with increased eosinophilic inflammation, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for these diseases and as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular mechanisms regulating CCL24 expression and its receptor interactions is essential for developing new treatment strategies. Recombinant CCL24 protein has been utilized in various experimental studies to investigate its effects on immune cell behavior, elucidate its role in disease pathogenesis, and explore its potential in therapeutic applications. Overall, ongoing research into CCL24/Eotaxin-2 is critical for advancing our knowledge of immune regulation and developing novel interventions for eosinophil-associated disorders.
