简介
CEA21/CEACAM21, a carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-related cell adhesion molecule, is expressed on granulocytes. CEACAM21 is also a biological candidate gene for schizophrenia and type I diabetes, with SNPs consistently associated with the disease. CEACAM21 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CEACAM21 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEACAM21 (Carcinoembryonic Antigen-related Cell Adhesion Molecule 21) is a member of the CEACAM family, which plays significant roles in cell adhesion, immune response, and various biological processes. This protein is primarily expressed in the human gastrointestinal tract and has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer and inflammatory diseases. The study of CEACAM21 has garnered attention due to its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis, as well as its role in tumor progression and metastasis. Recombination technologies enable the production of CEACAM21 in various systems, allowing researchers to investigate its structural and functional properties. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of CEACAM21 may provide insights into therapeutic targets and strategies for treatment, particularly in cancers where CEACAM proteins are aberrantly expressed. Characterization of this recombinant protein facilitates the exploration of its interactions with other cellular components, paving the way for future research into its biological functions and therapeutic potential.
