简介
ESM-1 Protein, an endothelial cell-specific molecule, is involved in angiogenesis and vascular permeability. It promotes the growth of new blood vessels and regulates the integrity of blood vessel walls. ESM-1 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived ESM-1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The ESM-1 protein, also known as endocan, is a highly interesting glycoprotein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. Originally identified as an endothelial-derived molecule, ESM-1 is implicated in angiogenesis, cell adhesion, and inflammation, making it a key player in the development of numerous diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders. Research has shown that ESM-1 levels can serve as a biomarker for certain malignancies and may indicate disease prognosis. Additionally, ESM-1's involvement in the endothelial cell response to inflammatory stimuli highlights its significance in the modulation of vascular permeability and immune responses. With advancements in recombinant protein technology, the production and characterization of ESM-1 as a recombinant protein allow for detailed studies on its functional properties, interactions, and therapeutic potential. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which ESM-1 operates could lead to novel therapeutic approaches targeting its pathways, offering hope for improved treatments in disease management. As new data emerges, the ESM-1 protein continues to be a focal point in biomedical research, particularly in the realms of oncology and vascular biology.
