Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cadherin-17, a member of the cadherin superfamily, plays a crucial role in cellular adhesion and is predominantly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract. Its expression is associated with the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue architecture, making it vital for maintaining the integrity of epithelial tissues. In recent years, research has unveiled Cadherin-17's involvement in various pathological conditions, including cancer, particularly in gastric and colorectal malignancies, where it may contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. The ability of Cadherin-17 to mediate intercellular interactions positions it as a potential biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of gastrointestinal cancers. Additionally, recombinant proteins of Cadherin-17 are being explored for their therapeutic potential, including their use in targeted drug delivery systems and as vehicles for immunotherapy. The study of Cadherin-17 recombinant proteins can provide insights into their structural and functional characteristics, facilitating the development of novel cancer treatments and diagnostic tools. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying Cadherin-17's role in cell adhesion and cancer biology will be pivotal in advancing therapeutic strategies aimed at inhibiting tumor progression and enhancing patient outcomes.
