  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MIP-5/CCL15 is a chemokine that belongs to the CC family, primarily involved in immune responses and inflammation. It plays a crucial role in the recruitment of immune cells, particularly monocytes and T cells, to sites of infection or injury. Research has shown that MIP-5/CCL15 is elevated in various pathological conditions, including cancers and inflammatory diseases, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression and a target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure and function of MIP-5/CCL15 is vital for elucidating its role in immune signaling pathways. The production of recombinant MIP-5/CCL15 protein allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties, receptor interactions, and potential therapeutic applications. Additionally, investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying MIP-5/CCL15’s function could reveal insights into immune regulation and the development of novel treatments for diseases characterized by aberrant inflammatory responses. This ongoing research aims to harness the therapeutic potential of MIP-5/CCL15 while providing valuable information on its role in health and disease.
