Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KAT7, a member of the lysine acetyltransferase family, plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including gene expression regulation, cell cycle progression, and DNA repair, by modifying histones and non-histone proteins through acetylation. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several diseases, particularly cancer, where altered acetylation patterns can lead to aberrant gene expression and tumorigenesis. Research into KAT7 is driven by its potential as a therapeutic target; inhibitors of KAT7 may restore normal acetylation patterns and impede cancer progression. Understanding its structure and function further aids in unraveling the complex networks of acetylation that govern cellular activities. Recent studies employing recombinant KAT7 proteins have provided insights into the enzyme's mechanics and substrate specificity, paving the way for novel drug discovery and personalized treatment strategies in oncology. As such, KAT7 represents a promising focus for biochemical research, with the potential for significant implications in the field of cancer therapeutics.
